You can find unique handcrafted products alongside fresh meats, cheese, olive oils, and more. There were lots of goodies to buy. Foodies should have been satisfied with the variety of tasty treats, from baked goods and preserves to craft beer and gin.
The Lavender Kontrei Market has a vibrant Saturday atmosphere and caters to all ages. Kids had a blast at the water splash pad, giant sandpit, and dedicated bike park. Families enjoyed the ample green space around this area.
Live music entertainment was provided while browsing the market, with Classic Cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles on display.
The market opened at 08:00 and continued until 15:00. Entry was R20 per person, and kids under 12 were free. Overall, I had a good experience.
They delivered on the Classic Cars and Harley Davidson Motorcycles on display. I can’t think of anything I disliked about the market.
It was a good way to spend a Saturday morning getting out of the house and supporting local entrepreneurs.
